Bio: Coach Will is a native of Lynchburg, VA, where he attended and cheered at Rustburg High School. While at Student Athlete, he was a part of the 2008 competition Cheerleading team, winning the Region 3C Championship title. He then continued his cheerleading career at Bridgewater College, where he cheered for 3 years and competed level 6 with Southern Charm All-stars, winning numerous titles, medals, and championships. He graduated in 2012 with his degree in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing.

Over the next few years, Coach Will has expanded his cheer experience by coaching high schools such as Turner Ashby High School [2009, 2010, 2011], Southern Charm [2010, 2011], Brookville High School [2014-2020], and Heritage High School [2020- Present].

He has also Emceed and judged major competition brands such as, Varsity and World Class Cheer, all over the US. In 2014, Coach Will became Dynamic Cheer’s Program Director, which would change the future of cheer in Lynchburg, He has structured and molded a program that has led and continues to have a leading legacy for the past 11 years.

As one of the Main Cheer coaches of Dynamic Cheer, the program has filled the gym with numerous top placement banners, championship trophies, rings, medals, and repeat visits to The U.S. Finals, and The D2 Cheerleading Summit Championships at Walt Disney World.

In his off time, Coach Will teaches Country Line Dancing weekly and is a certified Travel Agent specializing in Disney Destinations, Universal Studios, and Cruises. If he’s not coaching you can catch him traveling to a new destination experiencing the world.

Bio: Coach Sophia grew up in the Dynamic gym, where she became one of the program’s first Level 8 gymnast. Dynamic has been her home for many years, and she now enjoys giving back through coaching helping athletes grow not only as gymnasts but also as individuals. She has been coaching for four years, working with the Xcel program for several seasons and has coached many other levels including levels 3-9. She is currently a student at CVCC College.

Bio: Coach Patrick grew up in the United Kingdom with his parents and 3 other siblings. He took a liking to Tumbling and Trampoline at age 7 and continued to pursue it during his time in the UK. After moving to the United States, he continued training in T&T and also studied ballet, completing over 11 years in gymnastics and more than 6 years in dance. At 18, he stopped both to join the Army and later served overseas. After returning, he moved to Lynchburg where his fiancé and he are finishing their degrees at Liberty University and began working at Dynamic as a recreational coach.

Coach Olivia began gymnastics at 4 years old and trained at Apex Athletics in St. James, New York, where she competed as a Level 10 gymnast. At 18, she committed to the University of Iowa and competed there for two years. One of her proudest accomplishments was being 13th in the nation for her age group in 2021. She now studies Biopsychology at Liberty University with aspirations of becoming a doctor.

Bio: Coach Liz graduated from Liberty University with a degree in Public and Community Health. While at Liberty, she was an NCAA cheerleader and competed at UCS Nationals. She began her gymnastics journey when she was 6 years old and has been in love with the sport ever since. She has been coaching gymnastics for almost 10 years and is currently coaching levels 3 & 4. She absolutely loves the relationship built with the coaches and all the athletes at Dynamic. She is happily married to Cameron Sloan and has two little ones — her source of pride & joy! Some of their favorite things to do are go to Busch Gardens, camping and ski. She is also a group fitness instructor at the Jamerson Y. where she teaches strength, stability and deep water aqua. During her free time, she loves to run, garden and drink coffee Coach Liz loves to support a local and surrounding neonatal ICU through the Presley project — founded after a difficult journey with her daughter. Bio: With a background in cheerleading, gymnastics, tumbling, and team leadership, Leiren creates engaging and disciplined training sessions that help every athlete thrive. Her high expectations and personal connection with each cheerleader inspire confidence and growth. Leiren was a competitive gymnast beginning at age 6 before transitioning over all-star cheer at age 12. She fell in love with the sport and competed for Richmond Twisters and her high school competition team. Leiren began coaching in 2012, working with both competitive gymnastics and all-star cheerleading. She met her husband, Josh, at Liberty University and they got married in 2015 and have 2 children together. Leiren has been part of Dynamic Cheer for 6 seasons and holds USASF certifications in levels 1–5 for stunting and tumbling, as well as her USAG certification. Under her leadership, Dynamic Cheer has earned multiple championships, U.S. Finals gold bids, and consistent D2 Summit bids!

Bio: Keane is a highly dedicated and accomplished competitive Tumbling and Trampoline (T&T) coach with over 10 years of experience in both competing and coaching. His passion for the sport began at an early age, earning his coaching certification at just 15 years old while continuing his own training. Keane later achieved the highest competitive level as a Tumbling specialist. After retiring from competition in college to pursue a career in music, he took a brief hiatus from coaching but resumed his coaching journey later in his college years. A lifelong athlete, Keane has been an integral part of Dynamic since its founding in 2013, contributing both as a coach and mentor to the next generation of athletes.

Bio: Coach Kathleen has been coaching for 10+ years, all of them with Dynamic Gymnastics. A gymnastics lifer, she finished her 8-year competitive career as Virginia State Champion in the All-Around. When she is not overseeing our recreational program and competitive gymnastics and T&T teams, she is sharing her passion for gymnastics with our budding athletes in the Hot Shotz and Pre-team classes. She wears may other hats, including as an ICU nurse as well.

Coach Jordan has 5 years of gymnastics experience with Dynamic at the Excel Platinum level. Along with her background as a UCA All American Cheerleader, she has spent 4 years coaching recreational athletes, sharing her love for the sport while helping students grow in skill and confidence. Outside the gym, she is pursuing her passion for beauty as a cosmetology student to become a blonding specialist.

Coach Hailee began gymnastics at the age of 2 through 11 before transitioning to cheerleading. She has 2 years of gymnastics coaching experience along with 3 years in cheer. This is her first year with Dynamic, where she brings both her gymnastics and cheer background to her athletes. She is currently a student at Liberty University and was an LU Cheerleader.

Bio: Coach Grace joined the Dynamic Athletics team in 2025 and brings three years coaching experience. She was three-time all-state gymnast and last competed in Xcel Diamond. When not teaching her teaching her recreational gymnastics classes. Coach Grace is studying to be a nurse.

Coach Eve completed her Trampoline & Tumbling training in Kentucky before moving on to coach tumbling in Virginia Beach. She has now been part of the DG coaching team for a year, where she works as a recreational coach for both Tumbling and T&T. She especially loves helping athletes master back handsprings and back tucks, guiding them with encouragement and skill. Outside the gym, she is a graphic designer at Liberty University and enjoys powerlifting in her free time.

Bio: Coach Ethan has 9 years of experience in Tumbling & Trampoline and 5 years in Cheer along with being a 4 time winning UCA all american. With a strong background in both competitive and performance he brings passion and expertise to every class. As a dedicated Ninja and Tumbling coach, he is committed to helping athletes build strength, confidence, and skills while keeping training fun and motivating.

Bio: Coach Emma has been part of Dynamic for over 12 years, spending 10 years in gymnastics and 3 years in cheer. She loves the supportive and welcoming environment at Dynamic, where the staff feel like family. Emma is excited to continue her journey and looks forward to seeing all that Dynamic has in store for her future.

Bio: Coach Emily has been with Dynamic since she was about 8 years old. She competed as a gymnast through level 6 before transitioning into coaching. Gymnastics holds a special place in her heart, so she returned to coach recreational classes and has since worked her way up to coaching competitive gymnastics. She is currently a sophomore at the University of Lynchburg, where she is studying Exercise Physiology with hopes of becoming an occupational therapist.

Coach Dennis started gymnastics in recreational classes at an early age. Competed for 6 years. During that time, was also a student coach, and quickly liked the challenge and satisfaction of assisting an athlete in acquiring a new skill. While serving in the United States Air Force Security Forces, he developed a gymnastics competition circuit between the American Youth Association for all American Air Bases in Germany. Shortly after daughter Ashlei was born, he returned to the US and, while still on active duty, coached part-time at Red River Valley Gymnastics in North Dakota.

Upon exiting the USAF, began coaching USAG girls’ competitive gymnastics and tumbling for various cheer teams that came into the gym. This led to a full-time position as a tumbling coach at World Cup All-Stars in Freehold, NJ. In April 2007, assisted in the World Cup winning for the first time, not one, but two World Championships at the Cheerleading Worlds. In Late 2007, he moved to Georgia and began coaching tumbling at Stingray All-Stars, where he helped team Orange win two consecutive World Titles.

In January of 2011, he was recruited by the Australian All-Star Federation to coach the Australian Outlaws Open Worlds Team in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Their goal is to finish in the top 10. They placed 6th.

Returning to Georgia, US. Began dating his now Wife, a long-time Acquaintance Melissa. While coaching at Twisters All-Stars in GA. Until 2020, when they moved to Melissa’s chosen profession, which brought Dennis to Dynamic Gymnastics.

Bio: Cristina is married to Chris and a loving mother to three children. Her oldest son has been competing at Dynamic since 2022. She joined the Dynamic team in August 2024 as a front desk staff staff, where she enjoys welcoming families and supporting the program. A licensed hairdresser by trade, and also brings over 20 years of experience in retail and customer service, making her a friendly and knowledgeable resource for athletes and parents.

Bio: Briley has been part of the Dynamic front desk staff since August 2024. Originally from New Jersey, she moved to Virginia to attend Virginia Tech and quickly fell in love with it. She has called Virginia home ever since and enjoys being part of the Dynamic community.

Bio: Coach Amayah is from Lynchburg Va, where she attended Rustburg High School. Throughout the years she was also on the track and sideline/competition cheer team. She has also been with Dynamic since she was about 14 years old, where she decided to cheer under her brother on the competition team from the year 2016-2017. After stepping away, she decided it was time to still be a part of the Dynamic family by helping with birthday parties on the weekends. As time went by, Coach Amayah had attended Liberty University for 2 years when she stepped away to have her baby boy, Keilan. She started full-time with coaching recreational classes, then was offered the opportunity to help with All-Star Cheer as the Tiny Titans Cheer coach. She is excited to see where the season goes, as well as meeting new coaches and building with the Dynamic family.

Bio: Coach Alyssa started gymnastics at the age of 5 and trained through level 8 until she was 15. She began coaching in 2019 at Richmond Olympiad and joined the Dynamic coaching staff in 2024. Alyssa is passionate about sharing her love for gymnastics with young athletes. Outside the gym, she enjoys playing piano and singing. She studied Exercise Science at Liberty University.

Bio: Coach Alexis has been part of the program for over 2 years. She grew up in the sport of gymnastics, competing through level 7, and in Trampoline & Tumbling as well. She did All Star cheerleading for 3 years. In addition, coach Alexis taught middle school and is a proud mom to her son, Eli. She is currently coaching the Xcel team at Dynamic.

Bio: Coach Ainslee trained in Trampoline & Tumbling with Dynamic from age 11 to 17, earning recognition as a regional champion and finishing in the top ten at Nationals. She has been coaching with Dynamic for 2 years, working with both recreational athletes and the T&T pre-team. She currently attends Liberty University, where she is studying Exercise Science.

Bio: Coach Aaron brings over 13 years of experience in men’s gymnastics and more than 5 years of coaching to Dynamic. He competed at Level 10 in college club gymnastics at Liberty University, specializing in Rings and Floor while also competing All-Around. In 2017, he earned a 2nd place finish at Clemson University. Since 2019, he has been coaching at Dynamic, where he also served as Xcel Program Director. His passion for the sport and technical expertise make him a strong leader and mentor for athletes.
